He was a modest and noble figure who consistently upheld wisdom and composure in his conduct and actions, with patience and forbearance.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">During my tenure as Secretary-General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO, I had the privilege of benefiting from his insightful and scholarly counsel and learning from him.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">His composure and near-exemplary ethical conduct reflected years of experience and the many ups and downs of shouldering demanding scientific and diplomatic responsibilities during challenging times. His invaluable maturity, wisdom, and worldly experience offered a worthy and effective contribution to identifying a constructive path towards growth and development for our beloved country.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Iranian National Commission for UNESCO is honored to have established the UNESCO Chair in Cognitive Science last year under his supervision and guidance.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Now, with humility and gratitude before the Almighty, in reverence for our esteemed martyrs, with a heartfelt and unwavering commitment to continuing their path, and with boundless hope for building and bringing prosperity to this sacred land, I pray to the Most Merciful God to grant him the highest ranks in Paradise and to gather him among the righteous.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>It is strange that lovers bear their hearts upon their bodies;<\/em><br \/>\n<em>To give one\u2019s head is no wonder, but to keep it is.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Hassan Fartousi<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Secretary-General of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO issued a message of condolence on the martyrdom of Dr. Kamal Kharrazi, a distinguished Iranian scientific and diplomatic figure, and paid tribute to his influential role and wise counsel in advancing scientific and cultural development.
