It will bring together policymakers, researchers and education specialists from various countries. Participants will exchange experiences and share strategies for strengthening literacy programs in crisis-affected settings.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In recent years, the rise in armed conflicts, natural disasters, health crises and economic shocks has posed serious challenges to millions of people\u2019s access to education and learning opportunities. Under such circumstances, literacy goes beyond a basic skill to become a key tool for accessing information, enhancing individual and community resilience, strengthening social participation and supporting community recovery.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The webinar will explore experiences and successful approaches to literacy in crisis and post-crisis settings. Key topics will include the implementation of literacy programs in crisis situations, with a focus on the experience of Afghanistan; quality and inclusion frameworks for literacy programs in conflict-affected settings; the role of adult education and literacy in post-war community reconstruction, with a case study of Iraq; and literacy as a tool for strengthening social cohesion and lasting peace, drawing on the experience of Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The webinar will take place online from 15:00 to 16:30 Iran time. Simultaneous interpretation into Arabic, English, French and Spanish will also be available to participants.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Those interested in attending can register through the <a
