This decision formalizes the State of Palestine\u2019s membership in the international centre responsible for coordinating the global ISSN system for serial publications.<\/strong><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"post-images aligncenter wp-image-40919\" src=\"https:\/\/unesco.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/unesco-1024x576.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"862\" height=\"485\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The International Centre for the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) was established under an agreement between UNESCO and the Government of France on 14 November 1974. The agreement entered into force on 21 January 1976, marking the official start of the Centre\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The State of Palestine\u2019s application for membership was registered on 10 December 2025, in accordance with Article 2 of the Centre\u2019s Statutes.
