Call for Participation in the Ninth Phase of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP)

UNESCO has communicated with Member States to ensure that all contributors (assistants) to the various outputs of the ninth phase of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP), as detailed in the operational plan for this phase, are identified.

The communication notes that the insights, expertise and active participation of contributors can help ensure the effective implementation of this phase and reflect the diverse experiences and knowledge of UNESCO’s water family.

Accordingly, UNESCO has also prepared and issued a call for contributions.

Responsibilities of contributors:

• Participating in working group meetings
• Participating in relevant expert meetings to make decisions on key activities
• Contributing to the preparation of guidelines, articles and other materials
• Preparing and reviewing reports

Eligible candidates may submit their CVs in English to the Science Division of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO at science@irunesco.org by 15 November 2024.
