Call for Participation in the Ninth Phase of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP)

UNESCO has communicated with Member States with the aim of ensuring that all contributors (assistants) to the various outputs of the Ninth Phase of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Program (IHP), as detailed in the Program’s Operational Plan, are identified. The communication notes that the insights, expertise, and active participation of contributors can help ensure the effective implementation of this phase and reflect the diverse experiences and knowledge of the UNESCO water family. Accordingly, a call for participation has also been issued.

Responsibilities of Assistants

  • Participating in working group meetings
  • Participating in relevant expert meetings to make decisions on key activities
  • Contributing to the preparation of manuals, articles, and other materials
  • Preparing and reviewing reports

Eligible candidates may submit their CVs in English to the Science sector of the National Commission for UNESCO in Iran at science@irunesco.org by 15 November 2024.
