National Committee for Social Transformations
The National Committee for Management of Social Transformations (MOST) seeks to understand, manage, and harness social transformations towards sustainable development by strengthening the links between research, policymaking, and governance.
Introduction
The Committee is responsible for advancing UNESCO’s program in the field of Management of Social Transformations, conducting comparative and interdisciplinary studies, and establishing links between social science research and social policymaking and decision-making. Another key responsibility of the Committee is to foster connections among existing social research networks at the national, regional, and international levels.
The Committee comprises experts in sociology, architecture, urban planning, management and planning, and development, as well as representatives from ministries, organizations, and research centres active in the fields of housing and urban development, architecture and urban regeneration, management and planning, municipalities, and social welfare.
