UNESCO Call for Papers on the Future of International Cooperation in Education
The UNESCO Futures of Education Ideas Lab invites thinkers, researchers, policymakers, civil society activists, educators, young people, futurists and all those interested in education and governance to submit short analytical papers focusing on global developments in governance, multilateralism and international cooperation in education. |
This call aims to examine and rethink recent developments in multilateralism, global governance, and the role of education in addressing complex challenges such as environmental crises, economic inequalities, technological transformations, violent conflicts, and declining trust in international institutions.
Papers must be no longer than 1,500 words, written in English or French, and include critical analyses and innovative perspectives on education. They should examine and analyze emerging pathways and offer insights into revitalizing global cooperation in education.
Interested applicants are invited to submit their papers to the program’s Secretariat at UNESCO through the link provided in the information brochure no later than 10 November 2025.
