UNESCO’s annual “Digital Learning Week” event will take place on 5 September 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The symposium, themed “AI and the Future of Education: Disruptions, Dilemmas and Directions,” aims to provide a platform for critical reflection, peer-to-peer learning, and policy dialogue in response to emerging challenges in education in the age of digital transformation.
More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend, including 30 ministers of education, digital education leaders, policymakers, researchers, and education practitioners from international organizations, government institutions, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
During the event, participants will explore how artificial intelligence is disrupting education, the dilemmas it presents, and how its potential can be harnessed responsibly.
