Iranian National Commission for UNESCO: Club Activities Suspended Until Further Notice
| The Iranian National Commission for UNESCO hereby announces that, pursuant to Article 4 of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO Guidelines and in view of the need to update the clubs’ internal regulations in accordance with UNESCO frameworks, all activities of UNESCO Clubs, including workshops, training courses, conferences, the conclusion of memoranda of understanding with other organizations, and similar activities, are suspended until further notice. |
This decision has been made as part of a review process for membership in the Network of UNESCO Associations and Clubs. The process aims to clarify the procedures for joining the network, conduct a thorough assessment of the clubs’ performance over the past two years, and evaluate their compliance with the objectives set out in the Regulations of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO Clubs.
The resumption of club activities will be conditional upon verification of their functions and achievements within the framework of these objectives and full compliance with the Regulations of the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO. The results of the assessments will subsequently be announced through the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO’s official website.
