The United Nations World Water Development Report 2026 Released
The United Nations World Water Development Report 2026 has been released. The report provides a comprehensive assessment of the global status and management of freshwater resources and aims to offer policymakers tools for developing and implementing sustainable water policies. This year’s edition, entitled Water for All: Equal Rights and Opportunities, addresses women’s rights and their significant leadership role in water resource management. |
The report was launched on 19 March 2026 at both United Nations Headquarters and UNESCO Headquarters, as well as in more than 20 countries around the world.
