Call for Entries Announced for the “Our Heritage” International Mobile Photography Festival
The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) has announced a call for entries for the “Our Heritage” International Mobile Photography Festival, aimed at preserving and promoting the shared cultural heritage of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
The festival is being held under the theme “Heritage Transmission” and invites citizens of the 10 ECO member states to use their mobile phone cameras to capture authentic moments in which traditions, knowledge, skills, rituals, and other forms of intangible cultural heritage are passed down from one generation to the next.
The festival is open to citizens of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
The organizers invite all applicants, including professional photographers and photography enthusiasts, to submit their work and share a story that reflects a part of the ECO region’s shared cultural heritage.
